No one is responsible for your personal hygiene except you. This is the case unless you are physically or mentally unable to handle the task yourself.
Somehow people manage to neglect their spiritual health as they travel through life. Spiritual hygiene is important for you and the people you come in contact with.

You feel sick, but nothing seems wrong, you feel icky, malaise. You are tired, fatigued, angry or on edge, barring an illness, you may need to clear your auric field.
What do you need to do to have good spiritual hygiene? Here are a few suggestions that you should do for yourself.
Start by cleaning your physical space and body. There’s nothing like Spring cleaning to make you feel new again. A clean space makes life stress free and calm. This should be your first step if you can do it.
Next, try taking a bath or shower, Use Himalayan salt or bath salts with essential oils. This will ease the body and clear away negativity. Using sacred salts will add and an extra layer of energy to clear the auric field.
A sauna or steam bath will open the pores and cleanse your head. Melt away your stress, strain, and negative thought with warm air or water.
Using white sage smudge cleanses negative energies from the space and your body. The same can be said for Palo Santo. Clearing your personal space of negative energies makes it possible for you to have a clear mind and body. Clear the air, out with the old, and in with the new more positive vibes.
You need to add thinking and good deeds and having a good mental attitude. If you keep your mental health in check, you can avoid having negative energies hang around you. Use your mental power to your advantage.
Meditate daily. Meditation can set good intentions and clear your mind. Some people meditate to bring spiritual enlightenment. Set your intentions on clearing your space, aura, and being. It will happen maybe not immediately, but it will incrementally occur. Time is your friend.
Sound disrupts and moves airwaves just as light. Sound can be used to speak positive affirmations or create positive thoughts and to disperse negative energies or intentions.
Lifting your spiritual vibration. Adding more light to your body, mind, and spirit. The more light you hold, the less space for darkness. The light always shines through the darkness anyway.
Imaging or being in nature adds balance and peace in your life. Mentally and physically it can bring you positive vibrations and more light. The sun shining on your skin creates vitamin D in your body. Of course, take the proper precautions and wear sunscreen. Light therapy works the same way during your lightbox sessions. After a short session, negative energy seems to melt away.
Crystals, especially the darker ones take in negative, heavier energies and transmute them. Onyx, smoky quartz and other dark crystals are used to protect from negative intentions as well. Himalayan salt and selenite take negative ions and transmutes them as well as emitting positive vibrations.
Prayers formal or informal help set your intentions and focus on positive energy where it is needed. You do not have to be religious or have a specific religion to pray. Speaking things into reality is a way to create positive outcomes. It’s been proven over time that this is true.
Finally when you keep a journal, written or by voice is very liberating and enlightening. Speaking your truth is necessary to enlightenment. Your voice is part of your power just like your thoughts. Thoughts are the force that creates change. Be careful about what you bring to the table. Keeping a written record of your transition will come in handy if you ever need to do it again.
